Titanium Air > Baggage

Baggage Restrictions, Rules and Regulations

All passengers traveling on Titanium Air shuttle services may bring one complimentary checked bag along with one small carry-on item.

Because Titanium Air operates in remote environments using aircraft smaller than standard commercial airliners, onboard storage space is limited. This results in strict size and weight restrictions for all baggage. Our luggage guidelines are as follows:

• Soft, flexible luggage or duffel bags with one flat side are strongly preferred. Soft-sided bags are available for purchase in our lounge.

• The maximum checked baggage allowance—including camera or filming equipment—is 20 kg / 44 lbs, with individual bag dimensions not exceeding 40 cm (16″) width x 30 cm (12″) height x 60 cm (24″) length.

• The carry-on allowance is 5 kg / 11 lbs.

Please note that oversized items may not be carried on your lap. Loose objects in the cabin pose a safety hazard, and passenger safety is our foremost priority.

Excess or Additional Baggage

If your baggage exceeds these limits, we may be unable to load it. Titanium Air offers a complimentary luggage-storage service at Johannesburg and Kruger terminals for guests traveling on a return basis. Stored luggage remains the passenger’s responsibility.

Due to aircraft limitations, excess baggage can create operational challenges. Any items exceeding 20 kg must be pre-booked and pre-advised. Assistance cannot be guaranteed for unregistered excess baggage. Additional weight may incur a surcharge—please consult our fees and charges for current details. For baggage beyond 20 kg, a freight seat may be required at an additional cost. All extra freight is subject to aircraft weight-and-balance restrictions, and acceptance cannot be assured.

Booking agents are responsible for informing clients of Titanium Air’s baggage policies. Complete conditions are outlined in our Terms & Conditions of Carriage.

Note: Under our terms and conditions, private jet hire requirements, and aircraft-specific limitations, baggage dimensions and allowable weights may vary and are subject to change.
